CLI-First Ethical Security Engineering
A legal, ethical, CLI-first path toward becoming an AI-assisted defensive security engineer — authorized labs only. Build detections, review code, harden systems, and automate forensics.
// The loop
learn → build a lab → test in-lab → capture logs → analyze → write a detector → harden → re-test → report → save reusable playbooks
// The 6-phase roadmap
- 01 Linux, CLI & networking foundations
- 02 Web security foundations (OWASP, labs)
- 03 Detection engineering
- 04 Secure coding & code review
- 05 AI agent security
- 06 Forensic automation & incident response
The foundation course. It trains toward one profile: the AI-assisted defensive security engineer — an ethical hacker who works only in authorized labs, a forensic-automation builder, an agent-security practitioner, and a builder of secure systems.
Every session follows a ten-step rhythm — learn, build a lab, test only inside it, capture, analyze, write a detector, harden, re-test, report, and save the reusable notes. That discipline is what makes it engineering and not “running random tools.”
A hard prime directive runs through the whole course: hands-on testing happens only against systems you own, local labs, container labs, explicitly authorized client systems, and legal training platforms. Never against real third-party targets.
